Seoul-based bass duo rom&BAAWLA's rom has teamed up with Skrillex on 'Scut 2,' a track from Skrillex's new album 'SOMA.' Credited to Skrillex & rom as a joint collaboration, 'Scut 2' is the sixth track on the album, which was released on June 5, 2026.
'Scut 2' began as 'Skrillex - Scut (rom UKG Edit),' which rom put out in 2025. rom flipped Skrillex's 'Scut' into a UK Garage style and released the edit for free, and it gained traction after Skrillex began dropping it in his live sets. The track that spread by word of mouth ultimately landed on 'SOMA' as the Skrillex & rom collaboration 'Scut 2,' marking its official release.
rom is a producer and DJ known for heavy low-end and experimental rhythm, with releases through labels including BASSCVLT, Drop Diaries, and Quality Goods Records.
