foreign body producer duo rom&BAAWLA will present ‘R&B CORPORATION’ at Cake Shop in Itaewon, Seoul, on Friday, 25 September. Running from 10pm until 5am the following morning, the event is a new night from the duo and doubles as the release party for ‘All The People’, their EP arriving 1 October.
R&B CORPORATION is the name of the new event and label brand the duo are launching. After the advance singles ‘Push The Button’ on 10 September and ‘I’m Like’ on 17 September, the night gives the first full outline of the EP. It is also the first time a duo known for their edit series has built a whole night around their own productions.
‘All The People’ is a joint release between foreign body and Japanese label SPRAYBOX. It collects five tracks: ‘More Intro (feat. Hashtagpope)’, ‘PEOPLE’, ‘DUB BREAK’, ‘I’m Like’ and ‘Push The Button’. Two have already arrived as advance singles, and the rest get their first airing on the night. The breakbeat and bass running through the EP came out of foreign body’s UK/EU tour in June, which took the duo through London, Manchester, Berlin and Bristol.
Cake Shop is familiar ground for rom&BAAWLA, who played the room for More Breaks with R&B in 2025 and Cakeshop Present: Hamdi in 2026. They are joined by AEIDA, DJ POOL, MAR VISTA, JAN7TH and FULLTIME, and DJ DINNER SUGGESTION and DJ 1DAY3WORK. AEIDA made the Pokemon Jungle Edit Pack with rom in 2024, while the connection with DJ POOL began when rom&BAAWLA worked on his album. Fellow foreign body artist MAR VISTA, working from house and UK garage, joined several dates of the June tour.
With rom&BAAWLA comprising producers and DJs rom and BAAWLA, the bill brings together six acts and nine DJs across seven hours, from 10pm until 5am the following morning. Artwork for the event is by net_taskforce, and tickets are available in advance.
