DJ co.kr and h4rdy, leading producers in Korea’s UK dance scene, released their new single ‘Motorskills’ on UK label ATW Records on Sept 18, 2026. Created with British MC Capo Lee, the track grew out of a meeting in Seoul’s local club scene.
Capo Lee is an MC whose work spans British grime and UK garage, with collaborators including D Double E, Sir Spyro and Bakey. DJ co.kr, who regularly played tracks featuring his voice in DJ sets, had kept in touch with him through Instagram and proposed working together. When Capo Lee’s Asian tour plans aligned with h4rdy’s party schedule, the collaboration took shape in Seoul.
Run by h4rdy, STAMINA brings the rhythms and energy of UK club music to Seoul, with UK Funky and UK Garage at its core. After inviting Capo Lee to STAMINA at SOAP, the pair also joined him for a studio session. They chose a track already in progress and recorded the vocals on the spot, completing ‘Motorskills’.
ATW Records is a UK independent label run by Main Phase and Interplanetary Criminal, two key figures in the new wave of UK garage. With this release, DJ co.kr and h4rdy add their own original track to the catalogue of a label whose music they have long listened to and played.
To mark the release, DJ co.kr and h4rdy will come together for an ATW pop-up release event at MODECI’s rooftop in Seoul on Sunday, Sep 27, 2026. The party runs from 6 pm until 2 am the following morning.
